MTV revela los nominados para el regreso de los EMAs 2024 en su 30º aniversario

MTV ha revelado hoy las nominaciones para los MTV EMAs 2024, el cual está liderado por Taylor Swift, quien encabeza la lista con siete nominaciones, incluidas "Mejor Artista", "Mejor Video", "Mejor Pop" y "Mejores Fans". También vale mencionar que esto marca el regreso de la premiación, después de que en 2023 la edición fuese pospuesta debido a la tensión entre Israel y Hamás.

Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX y Sabrina Carpenter han conseguido cinco nominaciones cada una, apareciendo en categorías como "Mejor Canción", "Mejor Video" y "Mejor Artista". Muy de cerca, con cuatro nominaciones cada uno, están Ayra Starr, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar y LiSA, además de los nominados por primera vez Chappell Roan y Tyla. 

Diecinueve nominados tienen la oportunidad de ganar su primer MTV EMA en el show de este año, incluyendo: Kehlani y Tinashe en la categoría de "Mejor R&B", Disclosure y Fred Again.. para "Mejor Electrónica", Fontaines D.C. para "Mejor Alternativa", The Last Dinner Party para "Mejor Nuevo Artista" y Jimin de BTS para "Mejor K-Pop", lo que marca su primera nominación como solista. 

En otras categorías, los mejores talentos de MTV Push compiten en "Mejor Push", que incluye a Flyana Boss, Laufey, Shaboozey, The Warning, Victoria Monét, así como LE SSERAFIM y Teddy Swims, quienes también están nominados a "Mejor Nuevo Artista". 

El Co-op Live de Manchester es el recinto oficial para los MTV EMAs 2024. En su 30º aniversario, esta es la primera vez que la mayor celebración global de la música se realiza en la ciudad, marcando también su épico regreso al Reino Unido.

Los fans de 23 regiones de todo el mundo también podrán votar por sus artistas favoritos en las categorías de "Mejor Artista Regional". El ganador de la categoría "Mejor Video" será seleccionado por MTV. Los ganadores de "Mejores Fans" serán votados más adelante a través de las redes sociales de @MTVEMA.
