MTV revela las nominaciones a los Video Music Awards 2024

MTV reveló hoy la lista de nominados a los "VMAs" 2024, celebrando a los artistas cuyo impacto cultural y trabajo durante los últimos 12 meses han revolucionado la industria musical y generado conversaciones globales. 

Taylor Swift (10) lidera las nominaciones buscando continuar su racha récord para "Video del Año" y romper su propio récord para convertirse en la única artista en ganar tres veces consecutivas y 5 veces en total en la codiciada categoría. Swift es seguida de cerca por su colaborador en "Fortnight" Post Malone (9), Ariana Grande, Eminem y Sabrina Carpenter (6 cada uno); Megan Thee Stallion y SZA (5 cada una), LISA, Olivia Rodrigo y Teddy Swims (4 cada uno).

Tanto Sabrina Carpenter como Teddy Swims están entre los 29 nominados por primera vez a los VMAs, con Benson Boone y Tyla (3 cada uno), Chappell Roan, Jelly Roll, Jessie Murph, Rauw Alejandro, Sexyy Red y Victoria Monét (2 cada uno) también debutantes recibiendo múltiples nominaciones. Otros nominados por primera vez incluyen a Alexander Stewart, Burna Boy, Coco Jones, Flyana Boss, Gracie Abrams, Gunna, Joyner Lucas, Laufey, LE SSERAFIM, Lojay, Morgan Wallen, Myke Towers, NCT Dream, Pheelz, Playboi Carti, RAYE, Shaboozey, Tyler Childers y The Warning.

A partir de hoy, los fans pueden votar por sus favoritos, incluyendo la muy codiciada categoría "Video del Año", "Mejor Colaboración" y "Artista del Año", visitando mtv.com/vma/vote/ hasta el viernes 30 de agosto. Gracias a The General Insurance, la votación para "Mejor Artista Nuevo" permanecerá activa hasta el show el martes 10 de septiembre.
